The aim of Donor Mate’s ‘Touch & Go’ registration kiosk campaign is to raise awareness about organ donation among young people and encourage more young Aussies to register as donors.
To date, the campaign has provided registration points within Western Australian University Pharmacies, to be followed by a general roll-out to strategically considered locations nationally.
Grainger Studio developed an eye-catching design solution to gain attention in the visually competitive environment of a pharmacy—and to provide an easy access point for registration.
An ipad interface was designed to provide basic information about organ donation and to allow for sign-ups via Donate Life’s registration page. Signing-up is promoted as being “Quick & Easy”, encouraging “on-the-spot” registrations (only takes one minute!).
User engagement with each kiosk is tracked, enabling Donor Mate to evaluate the effectiveness of each unit. Results after several months of operation shows a huge success based on number of click throughs to sign-up.
A “boot” flyer was designed—aligning with the theme of “kicking the bucket”—as a takeaway containing Questions and Answers about organ donation and a QR link for immediate sign-up.
The bucket allowed space for the placement of the boot flyers and also provided a space for Life Saver sweets as a treat for those who signed up.
The design specifically aligns with Donor Mate’s edgy, fun and upbeat brand personality.
